Benefits Joining

Membership and Sponsorship Qualification

Individuals, firms, associations and corporations who agree with the mission and purposes of IRG and who wish to participate in and/or support IRG events and activities are eligible to join IRG. Regular Members preferably are actively engaging in the business of and/or providing services for those engaging in international trade.

Benefits

Associate Member

  • Access to a network of companies and organizations engaged in international business and business development
  • Reduced attendance fees at all IRG fee-based meetings and seminars, available to all employees of the Associate Member
  • Listing in the Web Site Member Directory. If desired, the listing may include address information, web & e-mail links, and a brief statement of products and/or services provided by the Associate Member
  • Access to the Members Only pages of the IRG Internet web site, including a compiled list of web resources for international business, online access to past seminar presentations, and news specifically for IRG members.
  • Employment listings for employment/employee seekers
  • Eligibility of an employee for election to one of the Board of Directors' seats available to an Associate Member Representative.

Regular Member

All of the benefits of an Associate Member plus:

  • Member voting rights in the Association
  • Identification and highlighting in IRG publications and on the public access pages of the IRG Internet web site, including a web page promoting the member, a public access link to the member.s web site and/or to an e-mail contact address.
  • Assistance in local, state and federal grant & funding opportunities for international business development.
  • Eligibility of an employee for election to the Board of Directors as a Regular Member Representative.

Student Member

  • Access to a network of companies and organizations engaged in international business and business development.
  • Reduced attendance fees at all IRG fee-based meetings and seminars.
  • Listing in the Web Site Member Directory. If desired, the listing may include address information, web & e-mail links.
  • Access to the Members Only pages of the IRG Internet web site, including a compiled list of web resources for international business, online access to past seminar presentations, and news specifically for IRG members.
  • Employment listings for employment/employee seekers.

Corporate Sponsor

All of the benefits of a Regular Member (including member voting rights if engaged in or providing services for international trade) plus:

  • Identification with corporate logo as a sponsor of IRG on the IRG introductory web page.
  • Sponsorship of a meeting of the IRG during the calendar year, including participation in selection of the meeting topic and presenters, and introduction of the meeting.
  • Option to distribute Sponsor materials at all IRG meetings and seminars.

Membership Levels

Associate Member Open to any persons, companies and other organizations who agree with the mission and purposes of IRG and who wish to participate in IRG events and activities. $50
Regular Member Open to any persons, companies and other organizations who agree with mission and purposes of IRG and who engage in and/or provide services for those engaging ininternational trade. $200
Corporate Sponsor
Available to companies and other organizations who wish to support the mission and purposes of IRG as well as its events and activities. $250
Student Member
Open to persons who are full time students at any academic institution and who have an interest in developing their knowledge of international trade by participating in IRG events and activities.. $25

The membership year is the calendar year. First year membership dues for those joining after May are one-half the annual rate, and for those joining after September the dues cover the balance of the current year plus the following year.

Membership dues are not deductible as a charitable contribution, but may be deducted as a business expense if you otherwise qualify.
